Lord of Vermillion confirmed

Some months ago, a rumor about a new game by the name of "Lord of Vermillion" was spread out on the web. But today, Square Enix confirmed to us that it isn't just a rumour. This recently trademarked title makes its way across the internet and the Famitsu Magazine, showing what it seems to be an arcade game based on card battles, letting the player to summon creatures and battle with them (similar to Yu-Gi-Oh/Pokemon trading card games).
Here's the system that will host it:

The soundtrack is being composed by the great Nobuo Uematsu. He'll be composing an entire soundtrack, which you can say it's his first time making it since Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. (Great to have you back sir).

Now, for the artwork, a great team will be working on the design and appearance of the game:
- Ryôsuke Aiba (Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy III [DS])
- Shiro Amano (Kingdom Hearts manga)
- Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy series)
- Toshiyuki Itahana (Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series)
- Ryoma Itô (Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings)
- Hideo Minaba (Final Fantasy IX)
- Yûsuke Naora (Compilation of Final Fantasy VII)
- Atsushi Ôkubo (Soul Eater manga)
- Akihiko Yoshida (Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy XII)

And now, something to please you, we leave these screenshots for you:

Some prints from Famitsu Magazine:

And finally, some artworks. We can check the usual Square Enix styled logo artwork, and some other artworks featuring some of the creatures of the game:

And that's all for now. We'll keep you informed as soon as more information gets out.
