The actual director of Square Enix, Yochi Wanda, comments about the current state of this new console generation."Xbox 360 is a console for hardcore gamers, those who buy it are the real gamers", said Wanda.
He mentioned that those who buy Wii, buy it only as a toy, and not as console. It was meant to be made for fun.
And also, as it wouldn't be fair to put it aside. Wanda states that Sony isn't sure about what they want to do with PS3. "Was it made as a console or as an High Technological System?"
The director also took some of the time to state his opinion about the new games development. He says that it's necessary to work on new titles, but also to show and to remember the importance of remakes of previous titles.
"60% of the games belong to series and 40% the new headings. There's a misunderstand idea established that it indicates that only we trust series as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest ", affirms the direction.
